Ballots Have Postage
The State Elections Board says if you request an absentee ballot by mail, the municipal clerk will take care of the postage.
Eau Claire City Elections Clerk Carol Schumacher says that's by state statute. She says clerks get the ballots pre-paid with postage.
In the city of Eau Claire, about 2,500 absentee ballots have been received so far.
Friday is the last day clerks will be able to send out absentee ballots.
