Tire Safety

With winter on the way your vehicle is in for some abuse over the next few months, but to make sure you get through the cold, snow-filled season people need to pay extra attention to their tires.

Officials say people should check their tire's air pressure at least once a month because the cooling temperatures cause tires to loose air.

Having good tread on your tires is also necessary and to check that you can use an upside down penny.

If you see the top of Lincoln's head you need new tires.

If tires are properly maintained they will improve a vehicle's steering, stopping, and traction during the winter months.
