Student Arrested

The student arrested Monday for writing the letter that threatened to kill several students has not been formally charged.

Eighteen-year-old Corey Reule of Menomonie was arrested Monday afternoon after school officials say he confessed to writing the letter.

Reule was arrested for disorderly conduct but was not formally charged because the District Attorney wants to charge him with a felony.

Reule is free on bond and cannot come within 100 feet of Menomonie school property or a school function.
