Reports of Wisconsin football's demise have been greatly exaggerated.

This from Badgers Head Coach Barry Alvarez Monday following Saturday's throttling at the hands of the Michigan State Spartans.
The loss, 49-14, wrecked the Badgers' unbeaten record turning the Rose Bowl into a long shot at best.

However, if Wisconsin manages to defeat Iowa at Iowa City on Saturday, and if Ohio State upsets Michigan Saturday, Bucky can still win a share of the Big Ten crown.

Alvarez says disappointment is a part of sports, but his team is ready to take on the Hawkeyes, adding that this is a big game.
