New Search Policy for Luther Midelfort
Security officers and cameras at hospitals are measures put in place to ensure the safety of patients and visitors. Now Luther Midelfort in Eau Claire has added another policy. Security officials say under the policy, they'll search patients and visitors for weapons if there's threatening or hostile behavior.
Safety officials at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire say they do not have such a policy.
At Marshfield Clinic, they say if there's threatening behavior that person is isolated and the police are called.
