Cell Phone Bill

The State Assembly will vote next week on a measure to keep teenagers from talking on cell phones while driving.

It has to pass both the Senate and Assembly and be signed by the governor before becoming law.

There have been many unsuccessful attempts in Wisconsin to change the law.

The teen driving restriction has been introduced every session since 2001 but failed to pass.

This should include adults, also. On a cell phone while driving is very dangerous regardless of age.

Why just limit it to teens? It should be everyone as adults are just as guilty of causing problems while talking on the cell phone and drive. Maybe they should try that and then the bill would pass.
