A school bus carrying about two dozen children was hit this morning in Rusk County, sending four people to the hospital for treatment.

The driver of the pickup, and two Flambeau students in the vehicle, were taken to Rusk County Memorial Hospital by ambulance, according to Pfalzgraf. Pfalzgraf tells NewsCenter 13 one young girl on the bus complained of her side hurting and was also taken to Rusk County Memorial Hospital. Pfalzgraf says none of the injuries appeared to be serious.
The accident happened on County Road I, about one mile north of Highway 8, near Tony. Tony is located four miles east of Ladysmith.
