Tomah Drivers Lose Jobs; Could Transfer

Twenty-five courier drivers for the Fujicolor Processing distribution hub in Tomah, Monroe County are going to lose their jobs this month.

A spokeswoman for Japanese film maker Fuji says the decision to close the hub on February 19th comes amid the popularity of digital cameras, which don't require film.

The couriers in Tomah picked up film at business locations in Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota for processing elsewhere.

Fuji spokeswoman Darla Hayes says the drivers will be considered for other employment within the company.
