Dane County has a new way to make sure convicts away from the jail are sober.
The county bought a portable breathalyzer to test convicts who under house arrest or on work release.
It can be set-up to request a breath sample every couple of hours. As an inmate is blowing into the machine, it snaps a photo and sends the results and picture back to the sheriff's office.
The county expects to start using it as soon as next week.
