Life's Not So Good

Life isn't so good for the state's tourism department. The department is being accused of ripping off its new tourism jingle from a 1970's British band called Supergrass.
The department paid a musician $22,000 to write music to the state's new slogan, "Wisconsin-Life's so good."

It's all part of a new national advertising campaign by the state, but the song on the ads sounds similar to the Supergrass song "alright."

Musician John Tanner, who wrote the jingle, says he's willing to write another song to avoid any possible copywrite infringements. He also says any similarities to the 1970's tune were unintentional.
