Dogs train for Flyball

It's flyball practice time for the canine dirt diggers. The team practices once a week either in Eau Claire or at their center in New Richmond. And they also compete once a month throughout the midwest, mostly in St. Paul.
And for those not familiar with the game the rules are simple.
It's a relay race for dogs. Teams consist of four dogs. Each dog goes over four hurdles, grabs a ball at the end and brings it back and when it gets back the next dog goes.
Flyball has been around since the 1970s, and to get involved in the game a dog must first go through some obedience classes and training for the game.
So anyone wanting to see these dogs in action can on February 25th in Eau Claire at the Ramada Inn Convention Center.
