Embers' Suspects Appear in Court

Thirty-year-old Brian Hahn of Eau Claire, helped to plan the robbery of Karl and Cindy's Embers Restaurant in the Town of Union, Feb. 6, 2005, according to the criminal complaint.

It says he offered his truck for use, for a payment of $500.

Hahn is charged with five counts of armed robbery and two counts of attempted robbery.

He's being held on a $25,000 cash bond.

Twenty-two-year-old James Albrecht of Eau Claire, is said to have gone into the restaurant masked. He forced employees and patrons to walk to the back of Embers, at gun point, and demanded their money.

He and his girlfriend, Jaclyn Reidel, appeared in court yesterday. The complaint says Reidel stole a gun for Albrecht to use. They're also being held on $25,000 cash bonds.
