Williams' Home Gets a Makeover

LARRY WILLIAMS IS ONLY 20, BUT HE'S ALREADY LOST HIS FATHER TO A TRAFFIC CRASH AND HIS MOTHER TO A HEART ATTACK.

SINCE THEN HE GAINED CUSTODY OF HIS AUTISTIC SISTER AND BROTHER, BUT THE 3-WERE LEFT IN AN ONALASKA HOME IN NEED OF SOME SERIOUS REPAIRS.

THANKS TO A FRIEND'S MOTHER, THE LA CROSSE AREA BUILDERS ASSOCIATION LEARNED OF LARRY'S SITUATION.

NEIGHBORING BUISNESSES DONATED TIME AND MONEY TO REMODEL HIS HOUSE, FIX LEAKS, AND RE-FURNISH IT FOR FREE, BUT HAD KICKED LARRY OUT DURING THE MAKEOVER.

SATURDAY WAS THE FIRST TIME HE HAD A CHANCE TO SEE THE END RESULT.

"There's a lot of things we've never had or even knew about, so it's going to take a little bit, but in the long run, it's going to work to our advantage."

LARRY WORKS A PART-TIME JOB TO SUPPORT HIS FAMILY WHILE TAKING CLASSES AT U-W-LA CROSSE.
