Woman Killed in Crash

The Barron County Sheriff's Department says a Rice Lake woman was killed in a traffic crash Sunday night.
Jessica Desrosier, 22, was killed in the crash at approximately 9:00 p.m. on Highway SS just north of Rice Lake.
Sheriff's authorities say Derosier was northbound on the highway and was attempting to turn into a driveway when a pickup truck hit her vehicle on the driver's side.
Derosier was taken to a nearby hospital and was pronounced dead.
The driver of the pickup truck, Monte Barthen, 44, of Haugen, was treated and released for minor injuries and then taken to the Barron County jail.
The crash remains under investigation.
