More Federal Money For Heating Bills

Wisconsin will get close to 1.8 million dollars from the federal government to help low-income families pay their energy bills.

The funding is part of 50 million dollars distributed nationwide by the U-S Department of Health and Human Services.

Each year, the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program helps more than four and a half million families across the country.

The money helps people pay for their heating in the winter and air conditioning in the summer.
