Wisconsin video game lovers could soon have to shell out more cash. That's if a new bill passes.
Senator Jon Erpenbach has proposed a bill that would raise the age of an adult in court from 17 to 18.
That would drive up court costs for the juvenile justice system.
Under Erpenbach's bill, the new expenses would be paid for with a one percent surcharge on games.
The fee would add about 60 cents to the popular Halo 3 game and $2.50 more on a Wii gaming system.
