Minong, Wisconsin Company Expands In Iowa
A Wisconsin company is bringing new jobs to the northern Iowa town of Laurens.
For the past six years, the town has been working to land a major employer -- and the work has finally paid off.
The Minong, Wisconsin based meat-snack company, Link Snacks, will open a distribution and storage center June, creating 150 new jobs. The company will move into a building left vacant when a grocery distributor left town.
Last summer, more than 200 people lined Main Street and waved to the camera for a photo that was used a promotional piece to encourage Link Snacks to come to Laurens
