Roth Judd Resigning

The longtime director of the state ethics board is stepping down.

Roth Judd says he will resign his position at the close of business on Wednesday. That's when the ethics board and the elections board will dissolve and be replaced with the new Government Accountability Board.

He was passed over for two top jobs with the new agency.

Judd has been with the ethics board for more than 30 years. He says he's pleased that Wisconsin’s lobbying law is recognized as the toughest in the nation.
