Gas Station Robber Pleads Guilty

One of four people accused of violently robbing a gas station in Rusk County pleaded guilty in court today.

29-year-old Merlyn Dailey pleaded guilty to one count of robbery with use of force.

Investigators say in June, Dailey, along with Regina Topinka, Anthony Bianco, and a 15-year-old all robbed a convenience store in the Village of Tony and attacked the clerk.

Court records say Dailey still faces other charges including false imprisonment, battery, and theft, but those will be held open until the case of another person allegedly involved is complete.
