Gas Prices on the Rise

Gas prices are up again in the Chippewa Valley, sitting around $3.19 a gallon in Eau Claire and relief does not seem to be in sight.

The government's Energy Information Administration says pump prices could peak near $3.50 a gallon in the spring.

Right now, gas is at $3.11 nationally -- up $0.80 from a year ago.

Will it ever stop??? Is there any good reason, logic, sense behiend these high high prices? Someone is making the big bucks while the rest of us suffer to make ends meet, not only will gas go up, but people forget Milk and grocery prices all go up too when gas prices increase. As do heating bills. Everything goes up up up and away..... There has to be a limit. and its not like we can just QUIT driving, I drive at a minimun to work and back, but I HAVE to drive to work, I have to WORK to pay for my bills and what not. I can't not drive. There has to be something that can fix this problem of high gas prices, it seems like no one cares.... we all complain but still nothing gets done.
