The post office in Eau Claire is making some changes and wants you to be aware.

Starting Monday, the postal service will open up a carrier annex location on North Hastings Way.

Postmaster Susan McInnis says street address customers will be able to pick up, hold mail, and register mail at the carrier annex. McInnis says you can also get your passports there.

However, with these new changes, you will not be able to pick up your mail at the main post office downtown. You can still call to reschedule your delivery time.
