Wisconsinites are divided when asked about the war in Iraq and how President Bush is handling terrorism.

A new Badger Poll done this month shows four in ten people surveyed say the president is doing a good job of dealing with Iraq. Another four in ten rate Bush's performance in Iraq as poor -- the same number as in October.

Six in ten believe America originally did the right thing to threaten war if Saddam Hussein refused to give up weapons of mass destruction. One third of those questioned now believe the Iraq war is a failure.

Sixty-one percent think the Iraqis hid or destroyed their weapons of mass destruction.

About 500 people were surveyed for the Badger Poll, co-sponsored by the Capital Times and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
