A 20-year-old woman representing Langlade County now holds the crown for the 2008 Fairest of the Fairs.
Claire Carroll received the honor over 38 others during the 85th annual Wisconsin Association of Fair Convention last week in Green Bay.
The Fairest of the Fairs was chosen by a panel of three judges representing the agricultural, fair, and media industries.
Carroll's responsibilities will include traveling in the state as the official ambassador of the Wisconsin Association of Fairs, serving as a spokeswoman for Wisconsin’s county, district and state fairs and the official host of the 2008 Wisconsin State Fair.
