Wisconsin's Report Card

A new report released Wednesday gives Wisconsin's economy a passing grade, but says there is definitely room for improvement.

The Wisconsin Taxpayers Alilance gives the state's economy a -B to a C+ overall.

It says the state did well in eleven categories but failed in ten others including employment growth, manufacturing output and new patents.

It also showed Wisconsin lagging behind the national average in the number of residents holding college and graduate degrees.

In Wisconsin twenty four percent of residents have a college degree, compared to twenty seven percent nationwide
