Tuesday night the Altoona School Board expelled a student for selling prescription medication at the high school, however the student will be eligible to come back, because the superintendent said he was honest.

Altoona school leaders expelled the 15-year-old student for the remainder of the year, but as of January 29th he'll be eligible for early re-instatement. He has to set up a psychological assessment and stay out of trouble in order to stay in school.

The superintendent says they are giving him credit for his honesty, because he and his father came forward with the information that the freshman boy sold prescription drugs at school last month.
