A Cadott man comes across something a little unusual during some early spring cleaning in his garage.
It was a diploma from a Gilmanton high school student who graduated more than 50 years ago.
Now he is hoping to be able return it to that man.
Dave Giwojna had been cleaning out his garage today at his place on Chippewa Street where he has lived for four years when he found this red diploma from 1954, in good condition.
It belongs to Lee Balk. Giwojna estimates Balk to be about 72 years old.
After our story aired at six, we had several phone calls and were able to track Lee down. We hope to get him reunited with his diploma soon.
