Voters will decide in April whether to amend the State Constitution and scale back the veto power of Wisconsin’s governor.
The state assembly gave final approval Tuesday to the proposed amendment.
It would ban the so-called "Frankenstein Veto."
That’s when governors stitch together unrelated words and numbers to create new sentences with different laws and spending levels.
A majority of votes in the April 1 election would amend the State Constitution to take away that power.
