Avoid Bunnies as Easter Gifts

We're three days away from Easter and the arrival of the iconic Easter Bunny.
The holiday often sees people giving bunnies as gifts.. but experts says that's not a good idea.
Eau Claire County Humane Association Director Lauren Evans says people often think bunnies are easy to take care of...When in fact they are not.
They require just as much care and attention as taking care of a cat.. and can be just as mischievous.. causing many people to bring their bunnies back.
"We see a few more returns after Easter. People get them for the novelty to have a baby bunny for Easter," Evans says.
Evans adds that their shelter does not allow bunnies to be given as gifts unless it is a parent getting them for their children.
