Men Charged With Murder

Bond has been set for two brothers from Rusk county who are charged with killing a man more than 25 years ago, while their brother was the district attorney.

46 year old Dale Rogers of Sheldon, and 52-year-old Harold Rogers of Ladysmith are charged with shooting a 27 year old college student, Robert Pfeil junior at his home in 1979.

Prosecutors believe Harold Rogers was the shooter in the murder, the judge set his bail at a $1 million.

Bail for Dale Rogers is set at $50,000.

The two men will appear in court again on May 17 for a preliminary hearing.

Prosecutors say a third brother, former Rusk County district attorney Robert Rogers, planned the homicide.

He has since committed suicide.
