SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) -- A 15-year-old Sheboygan teen is in custody after police say he took a hunting rifle to a girl's house and pointed the weapon at her at her front porch.
Police say the incident happened Friday afternoon and the 15-year-old's case will be turned over to juvenile authorities.
They say a 16-year-old boy who arrived at the girl's house wrestled with the boy, took the gun and pinned him down.
Captain Steve Cobb says the older boy's actions prevented a quote "much more serious crime from taking place."
He says 15-year-old intended to harm someone and the girl was in fear for her life.
Police say no names have been released because all involved are juveniles.
