Font Size:
Voters today can choose either major party when voting for their candidate of choice.
In other words, on the left side of the ballot are the lists of candidates for Democrat or Republican.
Regardless of your political preference, you can vote for either party, but only for one party. In other words, for example, if you are, say, a Democrat, you can cast a vote for a Republican presidential candidate. But you cannot pick candidates in both parties.
Additonally, you do not have to declare the party of your choice when you ask for a ballot.
Polls close at 8:00pm.
