Rios Returning

The man accused of hitting his wife on the head multiple times with a hammer will return to Wisconsin on Friday.
Altoona Police Chief Todd Chaney says a squad left at 6:00 Friday morning to go to Iowa to pick up 32 year-old Roberto Rios.
Rios was arrested for driving drunk over the weekend in Iowa and authorities there held Rios after seeing the warrent for his arrest in Wisconsin.
Altoona police issued the warrent last week, when authorities say Rios hit his wife more than once on the head with a hammer at the couples' home, severly injuring her.
Rios is expected to make an initial court appearance in Eau Claire County Court early next week.
