Crash Sends Man to Hospital
Officers say the driver of a car that crashed into a power pole south of Eau Claire Sunday night was going too fast. A man who was riding in the back seat is suffering from minor injuries.
At around 6:30 a car with at least three people inside swerved to avoid a car pulling out of a driveway near Balsam and Deerfield road in the Town of Washington.
The car ended up going off the road, into a ditch, and colliding with a power pole.
The backseat passenger was taken to the hospital. His injuries aren't life-threatening
