Wisconsin's conservation wardens say they're seeing the disturbing trend of young people killing wild animals just for kicks.

DNR Warden Rick Rosen of St. Croix County says it's like retail theft -- the thrill of getting away with something.

Several dozen cases have been confirmed in which wild animals were shot, stabbed, clubbed or run over with a vehicle.

A warden in Waupaca County says he's investigated several such cases, including one where three men admitted killing or wounding almost 50 deer near Iola.
