About 50,000 direct vent wall furnaces are being recalled because of a possible carbon monoxide leak.

The recall covers both the RHFE 431 and RHFE 556 models made by Rinnai America.

The problem is that a gasket can fail allowing carbon monoxide to leak and pose a risk for poisoning.
