Wisconsin's Very Own "C-SPAN" Coming In January

The Badger State's version of C-SPAN could be on the air as early as January.

WisconsinEye president Jeff Roberts says the network will begin broadcasting legislative briefings, as well as programs on health, business, education and the arts.

The private network last year won exclusive rights to broadcast from both legislative houses and has a seven-year contract.

Roberts says the network will pay for the cameras and equipment but turn them over to the state once they are installed.
