Last night emergency personnel airlifted a 14-year-old boy to a local hospital after he nearly drownded at a pond in Fairchild.
Witnesses say the boy was playing at the rod and gun club pond when he went under water at around 8 pm last night.
Those witnesses were able to call for help immediately.
The Fairchild fire and rescue were the first to respond and found the boy unconscious and not breathing.
Rescue crews used cpr to restore vital signs then airlifted the boy to the hospital.
At last word they were still giving the boy fluids and using cpr to stabilize his condition.
