A Holmen woman is recovering from injuries, after she was thrown from her vehicle in Trempealeau County.

It happened just after 9:30 Friday night on State Highway 35, north of the town of Trempealeau.

The Sheriff's Department says Amanda Curti, 31, passed another vehicle, and then lost control on the ice.

Her SUV then overturned in a ditch. Curti was taken to a La Crosse Hospital.

Deputies say her passenger, Jason Myers, 34, of Trempealeau, was not injured.
