154 people to be laid off at Eau Claire business
(WEAU) – iPacesetters says it is closing its Eau Claire location.
In a iPacesetters release, it says 154 employees will be affected, but the store won’t close until August 30th at the earliest. A company representative says the location, which is in the Eastridge Center , is a call center for several different clients.
It says the decision to close is a part of a general restructuring which will cut costs for the company. It says the employees will not be getting severance packages, but will get opportunities for jobs in other branches.
iPacesetters says its Monroe and Whitewater businesses will stay open.
