In it, he says that while the health care plan is deemed constitutional by the U.S. Supreme court, he maintains it's bad policy for the states.
He says Wisconsin proves it.
Walker points to a few areas that he says the Affordable Heath Care Act will "devastate Wisconsin."
He quotes an actuarial study commissioned by former state governor Jim Doyle.
- 100,000 people will be dropped by their employer-sponsored health insurance.
- 59% will see their average premiums increase.
He points to other concerns as well.
He in his opinion piece, Walker also discusses how it would affect the state itself.
"In Wisconsin, 46 percent of residents who would receive assistance through Obamacare would have already had insurance coverage. That would result in taxpayers spending millions of dollars without providing new coverage," Walker wrote.
