Deputies search for pedestrian hit by vehicle

Town of Hale, Wis. (WEAU) - Deputies in Trempeleau county are asking for your help locating a pedestrian that was hit by a vehicle.

Tremeleau County deputies say they got a call from a driver late Saturday night.

The driver told deputies he was driving on County Road O when he slowed down for a person walking in the southbound lane of the road.

The driver reported that the man ran out infront of his vehicle with out warning then ran off.

He is described to be Hispanic and was wearing a white tank top at the time of the accident.

After completing a full search of the area officers say they did not find the injured man.
