The state attorney general is launching a new campaign to provide more information about Internet predators.

The attorney general's office is teaming up with the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association on TV and radio ads that will air over the next four weeks.

Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen says the Department of Justice has stepped up efforts to fight Internet crimes against children, but says online safety begins at home.

The campaign is designed to encourage parents to monitor their children's Internet use.
