Rescue crews had to shut down Highway 16 in Bangor Thursday evening.
It happened close to the intersection of State Highways 162 and 16 in La Crosse County.
State troopers say a brown pickup headed east on Highway 16 tried to make a left turn when it hit a small car with a woman and baby inside. They were taken to Gundersen Lutheran.
Officers say the man driving the pickup had minor injuries.
