Nobody was seriously hurt in an apartment fire in Onalaska Monday.

It happened around 2 a.m. Monday.

Firefighters say a woman hurt her ankle when she jumped from a second-story window.

Another elderly woman was treated for smoke inhalation.

Five fire departments were called to the scene.

Everyone living in the 16-unit complex was evacuated.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
