A fire north of Tomah killed a 19-year-old man Saturday.

The Monroe County medical examiner says Sterling Eades of rural Tomah died.

It happened at a home on Emerson Road.

There's no word on what caused the fire.

The Monroe County Sheriff says it appears that the house is a total loss.

The Wisconsin State Fire Marshall and the sheriff's department are investigating.

What ever you say .. he wasnt found in the lower level he was 6 feet away from the door.. it was a 3 level house. The papers keep saying he was 20. thank you for knowing that he was only 19. Thank you for not putting out false information.
