A water main break is keeping parts of an east side Eau Claire intersection closed for most of the day.

Two turn lanes from Hastings Way onto Kirk Street are shut down.

Eau Claire's utilities administrator says warmer temperatures caused the ground nearby to shift that left a circular crack in the water main Monday morning.
