Eau Claire Among Technical College Campuses Proposed For College Credit Transfer
Students at three state technical colleges could have an easier time transferring credits to University of Wisconsin System schools under proposed legislation.
Republican State Representative Jeff Wood of Chippewa Falls has introduced a bill that would let the technical colleges in Eau Claire, La Crosse and Kenosha to offer a two-year liberal arts degree.
Wood says liberal-arts degrees allow students to transfer into four-year campuses with junior standing.
