A man who lead officers on a high speed chase that ended in a crash and his arrest was sentenced Thursday.
29-year-old Jared Boucher will spend a year in jail and three years on probation. He pleaded guilty to one count of fleeing an officer. Two other charges were dropped.
Investigators say in February, Boucher led officers on a chase that started on I-94 in Woodbury, Minnesota and ended in St. Croix county.
The sheriffs department says Boucher ran over a set of road spikes, taking out his front tires. With three squads stopped behind Boucher's truck, one squad rear-ended a Wisconsin State Trooper.
Boucher, one trooper and a Minnesota officer went to hospitals with minor injuries.
