"Gutsy Grandma"
Karen Olson's story titled "Gutsy Grandma" will appear in "Chicken Soup for the Grandma's Soul."
Olson says her grandmother Luella was a single parent to six kids and ran a farm, but managed to always have a graceful demeanor. When Olson asked how she managed, she credited her faith.
"It was a huge epiphany for me to realize that if you follow your heart's desire and do things the way you want to do them, things will fall into place because that is the path that was intended for you," says Karen Olson.
"Chicken Soup for the Grandma's Soul" is the 102nd book in the series. Another short story by Olson was published in "Chicken Soup for the Single Parent’s Soul."
