Knuth Benefit to be Held October First

The family and friends of a six-year old girl who was hit by a car in the Eau Claire County Town of Seymour are holding a benefit dance to help pay for her medical costs.

Relatives said Mackenzie Knuth is still in a coma at a Saint Paul hospital, and may stay there for six months.

Sheriff's deputies say Knuth and a five-year old boy were both hit by a car on County Q and Tower Drive Sunday afternoon.

Knuth doesn't have insurance.

The benefit is at The Hideaway Bar on Lake Eau Claire in Augusta October first. They'll have food, music, games, and raffles starting at noon.

For more information, call The Hideaway at 715-286-5290.
